Theatre of Lights is a free, family-friendly performance retelling ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’ alongside stories of how Sacramento pioneers experienced calamities and even special appearances from Jack Frost.

These performances take place on the balconies of our historic buildings on K street in the heart of Old Sacramento Waterfront. Produced by Downtown Sacramento Partnership and conceived by Stage Nine Exhibitions.

TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY – Wed. Nov. 27th

5 PM: Pre-show performances & Speakers followed by Tree Lighting Ceremony

6:15 PM: First Theatre of Lights Show begins (only 1 showing)

Fridays and Saturdays: Nov. 29th – Dec. 21st, shows at 6 PM & 7:30 PM

Some Irregular Show Dates:

Mon. Dec 23rd shows at 6 PM & 7:30 PM, & Tues. Dec 24th show at 6 PM only.

Parking:

The streets will be full of holiday cheer! Park in the garages at the entrances to Old Sacramento to avoid driving through the district.
