Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are now husband and wife!
The lovebirds, who announced their engagement in January, exchanged their vows Saturday (June 8) in a close-knit, romantic wedding in Montecito, California, PEOPLE reported. Spotted in attendance for the private ceremony included the groom's 6-year-old son, Jack, the bride's parents, Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, as well as Katherine's brothers Patrick and Christopher and sister Christina. Actor and family friend, Rob Lowe, and his sons also witnessed the nuptials.
“You can tell today is the happiest day for Katherine. She hasn’t stopped smiling. And Chris seems giddy with excitement,” a source told PEOPLE. “The venue is beautiful. Lots of flowers and greenery everywhere. It’s a very romantic setting for a wedding.”
The insider added: “The whole family took wedding photos, including her parents Maria and Arnold. Everyone just looked so happy.” (Head over here for wedding photos via PEOPLE.)
At a shower held by her mother afterward, a source told the publication that “Katherine was glowing the whole afternoon and having the best time celebrating with her friends and family." As guests gave speeches in honor of the duo's union, they said Katherine was beaming when her husband arrived and "gave a sweet toast" to her. "They were adorable together and he wanted her to have all the attention," the insider added.
After seven months of dating, the Avengers: Endgame actor confirmed the pair's engagement on Instagram. "Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!" the actor captioned an adorable photo of the two locked in an embrace.
This is Pratt's second marriage, and Katherine's first. The film star was previously married actress Anna Farris, with whom he co-parents Jack, for nine years before he filed for divorce in 2017.
Congrats, Chris and Katherine!
