If you were one of the many people out there excited about pumpkin spice flavored items hitting store shelves, then you are going to love the new fall treats from Hostess including their chocolate Twinkies!
You might remember the chocolate cake Twinkies from the past. They were introduced just a few years ago in 2017 and have been absent from stores and online for a while now. Recently, they've been brought back nationwide and received a Halloween makeover for a limited time!
Instagram account @JunkPickers spotted this treat along with Hostess Glo Balls! The Chocolate Twinkies consist of chocolate cake and and a "s'cream" filling and the Glo Balls are a Halloween take on Sno Balls. Those consist of chocolate cake, a creamy filling, and a bright orange dyed coconut and marshmallow topping (which is typically pink). According to Hostess, both of these can be found in stores nationwide.
In addition to these spooky Hostess Halloween treats, they also have Scary Cakes with S’cream Filling, which is basically a scary version of the Hostess Cupcake. They have brown and orange colored frosting with the creamy filling inside.
The price for each of these sweet treats ranges between $1.99-$3.99. They're all available now so head to your local store to pick your favorites up! Maybe you can use them to hand out to trick-or-treaters?
