College Football Fan's Beer Sign Has Raised $500K and climbing

This all started last Saturday on ESPN's College Gameday. An Iowa State fan named Carson King was holding up a sign that got caught by TV cameras. It said, "Busch Light Supply Need Replenished." He left his Venmo user name. He got flooded with donations. Thousands of dollars worth. King decided he would donate the money to a local children's hospital, minus the money it would cost to get one case of Busch Light. Now, the donations wont stop. Busch Light, and Venmo have offered to match his donation, and at last check, he has raised $175,000. With a match from Busch and Venmo, that total would hit $500,000.

Busch also sent King a note, Friday on social media. It said, "Hey Carson, we said we’d send you a year’s worth of Busch Light, but first we had to make sure the cans were fit for a King. Let us know where to send the truck. #IowaLegend"

If you would like to donate, you have until the end of the month on Venmo with his username "Carson-King-25."
