Today, January 7th, during a show in Sydney, Elton John has pledged to donate $1 million to assist the relief efforts of devastating Australian wildfires. John noted that it breaks his heart to see what is happening to the beloved country he had been visiting since 1971. He made a plea on behave of the endangered animals and citizens that have been affected.
