It's heartbreaking to see what's happening in Australia and how it's impacted the wildlife.
One great way to help out from anywhere in the world is to get involved by helping sew, crochet or knit kangaroo pouches or other beds for injured wildlife.
- Volunteers with the Animal Rescue Craft Guild are the organizers behind this
- There are some guidelines: Joey pouches and bat wraps must be hand sewn. Bird nests may be crocheted, but all must follow the templates provided. They should be made with cotton or linen -- whatever old bedsheets are made of.
- The softer, the better.
