Man Animates Himself Into 'Sleeping Beauty' For The Ultimate Proposal

When it comes to proposals, there are creative ones, romantic ones, and then there's this one.

Lee Loechler recently proposed to his girlfriend, Sthuthi David, in a movie theater showing her favorite movie, Sleeping Beauty. Little did she know that the movie theater was packed with their friends and family and that her future husband had something very special planned.

Loechler spent six months working with an illustrator to alter the animation of the movie's most iconic scene. He wanted to change the characters to look like him and his girlfriend and alter the story line to help set up for popping the question.

Just watching the looks on David and Sthuthi's faces during the scene change is so fun. You can see the pure joy on David's face and the confused look on her's showing that she has no idea what is about to happen.

The set up alone is fantastic, but one of the most magical moments is when Loechler's illustrated character tosses the actual ring box to his real-life self. Just how did they make that happen?!

When posting the video to YouTube, Loechler wrote "It's not every day you get to propose to your High School sweetheart. For the past six months, I've been working with an illustrator to animate my girlfriend and myself into her favorite movie, Sleeping Beauty. On 12/30/19 I popped the question in a theater filled with our friends and family."

The whole thing is just perfection. And there's even more amazing surprises!
