Shelter-In-Place Ordered For Yolo County

Yolo County has been added to the list of Northern California counties under the shelter-in-place order amid coronavirus concerns. Currently this order is in place from March 19 to April 7 but may be extended if the Yolo County public health officer, Dr. Ron Chapman, decides that is necessary. Yolo County Board Chair Gary Sandy said residents must do their part to stop the spread of the virus. Canceling non-essential gathering as well as social distancing is highly encouraged until further notice. Four people within Yolo County have tested positive as of Wednesday morning.
