Free Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing To Be Available Today In Sac County

Free drive-thru testing for coronavirus is now available in Sacramento County. You won't be required to have a doctor's note, you just have to fill out a form about symptoms online. It's part of a new test program called Project Baseline, which is a web-based screening program that launched in the Bay Area a week ago. It's operated by private sector company Verily. Company leaders say their plan is to quickly ramp up testing for the virus in Northern California.

You click to projectbaseline.com to take the test. Once you're at the site you'll need to create an account, take a screener test, and provide information about your health situation, including current symptoms. The screening will determine if you're at risk and should take the test using the Department of Health and CDC guidelines.

The clinical research project is being conducted in cooperation with several universities. The test results are then texted to participants.
