Sad news today!
Last month, we heard the fair was still a go because it brings in so much income for the state and Hutchinson. There's also many companies and churches that have booths at the fair and rely on the donations to make it through the winter.
Unfortunately though, the board got back together this morning and decided to vote again and cancel the state fair. Most the vendors weren't willing to attend.
The state fair did say their will move forward with livestock shows and other 4H events at the fairgrounds.
