Chris Evans Breaks Silence After Leaking His Nude Photo By Accident

Chris Evans had the best response to accidentally leaking a nude image of himself.

The Avengers actor broke his silence on the embarrassing mishap in which he (albeit unintentionally) exposed his manhood for the entire world to see. Taking to Twitter on Monday (September 14), Evans used little more than a few emojis to express his feeling about the slip-up, but not without redirecting the unwanted attention to this year's upcoming presidential election.

“Now that I have your attention,” he wrote along with two emojis to express his humiliation.“VOTE Nov 3rd!!!”

In case you missed it, the oopsie happened Saturday (September 12) when the Knives Out star recorded himself scrolling through his iPhone camera roll, not realizing the pair of explicit images he’d left unhidden. One was a meme of the 39-year-old heartthrob’s face with the caption “Guard That P****,” whereas another showed what was clearly a silhouetted picture of his private parts.

For all you nonbelievers out there, we’re not bluffing: Captain America actually bared his nether regions on social media this past weekend — and Twitter had the memes to prove it.

When the image leaked, Evans’ brother, Scott Evans, and his Marvel co-star Mark Ruffalo the first stars to respond to the gaffe.

".@ChrisEvans Bro, while Trump is in office there is NOTHING you could possibly do to embarrass yourself. See... silver lining,” Ruffalo wrote. Downplaying the incident, Scott chimed in, "Was off social media for the day yesterday. So. What'd I miss?"

Since speaking out, other celebrities have chimed in, including Chris' Knives Out castmate, Jamie Lee Curtis, who quipped: My boy! Proud of him. Got MY attention!”
