Watch Coldplay's Chris Martin Sing 'Yellow' With Kelly Clarkson's Kids

Most kids don't get to sing their all-time favorite song with the person who wrote it, but most kids don't have Kelly Clarkson as a mom.

Chris Martin was recently a guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show, and the pop star just so happened to have her kids (7-year-old River and 5-year-old Remy) backstage. After admitting that she's probably sang Coldplay's hit "Yellow" more times than Chris has because it's her daughter's favorite song, she invited her children to come out and meet the rockstar.

“Can we play together, is that possible?” Chris asked when the youngsters made their way onstage.

“I’m a little nervous,” Remy said.

“I’m nervous too, man,” Chris confessed, gesturing for Remy to sit next to him on the couch while River took a seat next to her mom. “I get nervous too on TV, of course we’re nervous. Look how well-dressed you are though, man. You look great.”

After pocketing a card River wrote him, Chris instructed the kids how to sing the harmony before diving into “Yellow."

While River and Kelly sang along, Remy sat silently next to Chris. After the Coldplay frontman made a joke about him being quiet and handsome, Remy revealed why he wasn't singing—midway through the song.

“I need to go to the bathroom,” he blurted, throwing his mom into a fit of laughter.

“I need to too, but I’m holding it,” his big sister let viewers know.

During his visit, Chris and Kelly also put their spin on Ginuwine's "Pony," Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," Coldplay's "Green Eyes" and Kelly's hit "Since U Been Gone."
