The Jonas Brothers are getting ready for their Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour, and have a few surprises in store.

Kevin, Joe, and Nick will kick off their 20th anniversary tour on August 10 in their home state of New Jersey, just two days after the release of their forthcoming album, Greetings from Your Hometown.

Joe recently sat down with People to talk about all things tour, sharing that several elements will be "different" this time around.

"I think what fans can expect is that we are going to do what we can to give them the best show they can possibly enjoy every night, really have a fun time on the road, enjoy the fact that we get to do this after all these years, and just try to bring something different."

Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour will be an experience shaped by fans to produce "something different from what they’ve experienced before."

"We’re going to build a show with our audience, so we’re rehearsing pretty much onstage and playing some of these older songs that we haven’t played in so many years and see how they respond and what they want to hear." Aside from the setlist, the standouts are in the process of choosing their wardrobes for the tour.

"We’re in the middle of figuring out what we’re going to wear, but we never really dress according to the weather. The stadiums outside, it’s like you don’t even... I think it’s going to be important because we’re going to be sweating through those outfits really fast. Not much leather — there won’t be a lot of leather being worn."

Kevin also commented on the Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour, which concludes in November, assuring that it will be extraordinary.

"It's gonna be really special. You know, it's 20 years of the band, but really it's just about us going back on the road to celebrate how many people have been with us for so long, and the fans that have made this journey possible."
