Swifties rejoice — The Life of a Showgirl is finally here!
On Friday (October 3), iHeartRadio Presents 12 Hours In The Life of a Showgirl Brought to you by Capital One culminated in the premiere of Taylor Swift's 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl as she introduced a glitzy new era. The 12-track record features lead single "The Fate of Ophelia," another song with an interpolation of iconic musician George Michael's classic 1987 hit "Father Figure" and even a superstar collaboration with "Espresso" singer and Eras Tour opener Sabrina Carpenter.
Taylor first announced The Life of a Showgirl while appearing on her fiancé Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast in August and later invited fans to experience the album in theaters with the Official Release Party of a Showgirl, featuring behind-the-scenes details of the making of the record.
The new record serves as a follow-up to her 2024 album The Tortured Poets Department and is her first project since concluding her record-breaking Eras Tour and regaining the masters to her first six albums.
In the lead-up to the album's release, fans got to experience 12 Hours In The Life of a Showgirl Brought to you by Capital One and honor every era in the life of the ultimate showgirl. To celebrate her new album, iHeartRadio's network of Pop and Hot AC stations are broadcasting The Life of a Showgirl in its entirety, sharing each track in exactly the order Taylor intended. The iHeartRadio Album Premiere event includes custom track-by-track audio recorded from the singer herself, giving fans exclusive insight into the making of each song.
Swifties can also enjoy all things Taylor with The Life of a Showgirl Radio. Available until November 3, the station will be dedicated to playing a curated playlist of songs from Swift's different eras as well as interviews and stories behind some of the popular tracks.
