Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy appears to have found love again more than a year after the One Direction alum's tragic death.

The influencer, 26, and the "Strip That Down" singer dated for two years and remained together up until his death in October 2024. Since his passing, she has been open about the "grief and pain" left in the wake of his heartbreaking loss, even admitting that she struggled to get out of bed. Now, a year and a half later, she has waded back into dating and even seemingly sparked a new romance with a mystery man, per E! News.

Cassidy shared a TikTok on Monday (March 16) with a man tagged as Michael, who literally swept her off her feet and spun her around as Olivia Newton-John's "Hopelessly Devoted to You" played over the clip. She shared another TikTok with the same man a few days earlier, captioning the video "Ugh" alongside heart emojis.

She was met with plenty of support in the comments, including from others who are learning how to date again after the loss of a partner.

"As a young widow who is dating again I approve this message," one commenter wrote. "We love you Kate we all miss Liam and always will but you deserve to feel love again. It's going to be different as it should be it's honestly amazing I know my man is cheering me on as is Liam to you."

Payne passed away at the age of 31 on October 16, 2024, after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In an April 2025 interview with Jay Shetty on his On Purpose podcast, Cassidy opened up about the "beautiful last moment" she spent with her boyfriend before his death that "brings me this mixture of pain and peace."
