North Texan Trevor Reed Released From Russian Prison!


Breaking News! The US and Reed's family have both confirmed that Marine Trevor Reed has been released from a Russian prison in a prisoner swap agreement. He was sentenced in 2020 for an assault charge in Moscow. The exchange happened in Turkey and the US Bureau of Prisons had updated their website indicating that a Russian pilot had been exchanged as well. He was in the US after being convicted for cocaine trafficking.

It was a coordinated effort and the Reed family thanked President Biden, Ambassador Jon Sullivan, US Embassy staff in Moscow as well Senator John Cornyn, Congresswoman Jackson Lee, Congressman Castro from texas among others.
