As the fan-favorite TV show Friends continues to celebrate its 25th anniversary, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the show's creators and six main stars are talking about a reunion on HBO Max.
Sources also share that this deal is far from done. There are still several details and agreements that need to be finalized. When and if these agreements are made, there are still other major hurdles to cross like working around everyone's schedules.
WarnerMedia Entertainment Group and direct-to-consumer chairman Bob Greenblatt have both been pushing for a Friends reunion. Especially since it would be a great addition to the debut of HBO Max, the show's new home.
The fact that the entire cast is willing to do this is a huge accomplishment and stepping stone alone!
Jennifer Aniston shared with Ellen DeGeneres that the Friends cast "would love for there to be something, but we don't know what that something is. So we're just trying. We're working on something."
