Boy who can't play outside makes an unlikely friend

6 year old Braylon has a rare disease that won’t allow him to play outside.  Braylon was born without sweat glands so when it’s too hot outside, he has to spend his school recesses indoors.

But thanks to a new friend, Braylon doesn’t spend recesses alone anymore.

Braylon formed a friendship with Officer Saladin who is stationed at the school.  Officer Saladin takes Braylon on patrol with him through the hallways.  Braylon even has his very own police uniform!

Braylon’s teachers say they’ve noticed a confidence boost and his grades have gone up since he put on that uniform.  In a world where you hear so much about kids getting picked on and bullied, it’s great to see this unlikely partnership.
