When Abbie Rutledge was pulled over for speeding two years ago, she told Trooper J.T. Brown she was broke and couldn't afford a ticket.
So he started talking to her about the road she was on, career-wise. After talking about different ideas, nursing was the one Abbie felt most suited for.
The trooper said he wouldn't give her a ticket if she would slow down AND go to school.
She just graduated and Trooper Brown was there. He says she made his entire career worth it.
