Sammy is 3 years old and 31 pounds. He loves food, pets, and getting attention! He is a low energy kind of guy who would enjoy both walks and lounging on the couch while watching his favorite tv show. He rides well in the car, walks well on leash and so far has been very polite with everyone he meets! He's a total sweetheart who has captured the heart of staff and volunteers and is hoping to do the same to yours! Sammy could basically be considered an employee at this point – he has attended 9 school visits as part of our humane education program! He is a wonderful ambassadog!!
Sammy recently went on a FURlough sleepover! He grabbed a pup cup at Starbucks, shopped at Petsmart, played lots of tug-o-war, explored a couple different parks, and got to snuggle in bed for the night. Sammy's FURlough Friend says he LOVES toys (especially with squeakers), walks well on leash, and is a well-behaved boy when out and about.
