Local residents will soon see hundreds more electric scooters popping up in the Sacramento area.
Lime is placing about 250 electric scooters throughout the city starting Wednesday (July 31). 20% of which will be placed in south and southeast parts of the city, Lime said in a news release.
The scooters cost $1 to unlock and charge customers and additional 20 cents per minute while in use.
Northern California cities like Oakland, San Jose and South Lake Tahoe have already integrated Lime scooters into their communities.
