Visitors at California's Six Flags Magic Mountain on Tuesday got a chance to see a harrowing attraction that's not listed in the amusement park's literature: a ferocious brown bear.
The bear apparently wandered onto the park grounds on Tuesday morning and was exploring the area when it somehow became stuck between two trailers parked on the back lot, authorities say. Firefighters responded to the scene and -- after sedating the creature -- spent several hours trying to free it, an LAFD spokesman says.
After successfully removing the bear from between the trailers, firefighters handed it over to the California Fish and Game department, which was expected to bring it to a "safe location," according to the spokesman.
